I want to congratulate you all! Decatur High School has been named one of the best schools in the nation by Newsweek magazine (please note clicking the Newsweek link will take you away for the DHS site to the Newsweek article). The magazine publishes a ranking each year of the top 5% of the nation’s schools. We are one of the schools this year. This is an impressive honor. It takes the dedication of every staff member, parent and student to attain this type of accomplishment.
