Week-In View

First Period

During the first week of the second semester we learned about the properties of the Coordinate  Plane and we also learned about slope. To learn about the Coordinate Plane, we drew the Coordinate Plane on a piece of chart paper, then discussed the important indentifying characteristics. We then went outside and investigated the Plane further by developing a human coordinate plane. On Friday, we learned two methods to find the slope of lines and discussed the four types of slope (positive, negative, zero, and undefined).

Third Period

During the first week of the second semester, we learned about the properties of the Coordinate Plane and we also learned about slope. To learn about the Coordinate Plane we developed a class plane using chart paper. We discussed the important identifying characteristics. Following this discussion, the class began making a Coordinate Plane Foldable(tm). On Friday, we learned two methods to find the slope of lines and discussed the four types of slope (positive, negative, zero, and undefined).

Fourth Period

During the first week of the second semester we learned about the properties of the Coordinate  Plane and we also learned about slope. To learn about the Coordinate Plane, we drew the Coordinate Plane on a piece of chart paper, then discussed the important indentifying characteristics.
