From the South I-20 (east of I-285):
Take I-20 West toward Atlanta. Bear right onto off-ramp at exit 67B to I-285 N. Remain on I-285 N for about 2.2 miles to Exit 43 to US 278 (Covington Highway). Turn left onto US-278 (Covington Hwy). Stay on US 278 (the road’s name will change to Avondale Road and then to College Ave once you are near Decatur) for about 2.4 miles to the intersections with McDonough Street (Agnes Scott College will be on your right for a long block before you intersect McDonough). Take a right over the railroad tracks and DHS will be on your left. The stadium is in the NW corner of the DHS property.

From North-east (from I-85 and I-285):
Take 1-85 South to 1-285 East approximately 4.4 miles to Exit 39A to US 78W (Stone Mtn Freeway). Get into left lane (freeway will fork, follow signs to Decatur); road merges into Lawrenceville Hwy; go to 3rd traffic light—take left onto Bus. Hwy. 29 (becomes Church St).  After crossing E. Ponce de Leon Ave, go to 2nd traffic light (Trinity) and take a right; go one block and take a left (Chick-fil-A on your left). DHS is on the right about half-way down the block.

From I-75/I-85 North (heading south):
Take 75 south to Freedom Parkway exit 248C toward the Carter Center.  Stay straight to go on Freedom Pkwy/Ga 10 E.  Stay straight to go on East Freedom Pkwy/Ga 42 Connector E.  Take a left onto Moreland Ave; go two blocks and take a right onto Ponce de Leon Ave. Go approximately 2.5 miles to where Scott Blvd veers off to the left (Ponce de Leon continues to the right); you will have just gone under a large concrete railroad trestle, the road forks immediately after that. Take the right fork and follow into Decatur. Turn right at the 2nd light onto W. Trinity Street. Go to the second light and and take a right onto McDonough Street. Stadium and gym are on the right about half-way down the block.

Alternate Route From I-75/I-85 (heading south):
Take the Tenth/Fourteenth Street exit. Cross over Fourteenth St. and turn left onto Tenth Street and continue until it dead-ends into Monroe Drive (Grady H.S. on your right and Piedmont Park on your left).

Turn right onto Monroe Drive and continue to Ponce de Leon Avenue. Turn Left on Ponce de Leon Avenue.

Continue on Ponce for approximately 3.4 miles to Scott Blvd and Ponce de Leon Ave fork (you will have just gone under a large concrete railroad trestle, the fork is immediately after that). Continue on Ponce de Leon Ave for 2 more traffic lights ( W. Trinity Place). Take a right onto W. Trinity Place. Continue on W. Trinity to the 2nd traffic light and take a right onto McDonough (Chick-fil-A on the far corner).

Ebster Park/Field

From North-East (I-85 and I-285):
From I-85, take the Clairemont Ave exit and go south. When Clairemont reaches a dead end, thurn right onto West Ponce de Leon Ave.; go to the first traffic light and take a left onto Commerce. Go to the second traffice light and turn right onto Trinity Place. Go one block and then turn left onto Electric Avenue. The field is on the right (directly behind the Police Station and Recreation Center). Parking is available in the small lot behind the Rec Center, in the lot next to the Police Station or on the street.

From 285E: Take exit 39A - US 78 west toward Decatur. Follow US 78.  As you pass Dekalb Industrial Way get to the left and bear to the left on Church St.  Follow Church St. into downtown Decatur. At the first intersection past the Decatur MARTA station, turn right on Trinity Place.

Cross McDonough St. and Commerce Ave. Just past Electric Ave. you will see a brick building that houses (among other things) the Decatur Police Dept. Ebster Field is directly behind this building.  Parking is available next to the Police Dept. and in a deck across Trinity Place.

From downtown Atlanta and points south or north:
I-75/85 to Freedom Pkwy exit. Follow Freedom Pkwy to Ponce de Leon Ave.  Turn right on Ponce and go 2.9 miles. Immediately after passing beneath a low concrete RR overpass, bear right on Ponce toward Decatur (do not take Scott Blvd that forks off to the left).  At second light after the fork, bear right on Trinity Place. At the bottom of the first hill you will see the Decatur Police Dept. Ebster Field is directly behind this building. Parking is available next to the Police Dept. and in a deck across Trinity Place.

From I-75 (downtown connector):
Take 75 south to Freedom Parkway exit 248C toward the Carter Center.  Stay straight to go on Freedom Pkwy/Ga 10 E.  Stay straight to go on East Freedom Pkwy/Ga 42 Connector E.  When Freedome Pkwy dead-ends into Moreland Avenue, turn left onto Moreland Ave; go two blocks and turn right onto Ponce de Leon Ave. Go approximately 2.5 miles to where Scott Blvd veers off to the left (Ponce de Leon continues to the right); you will have just gone under a large concrete railroad trestle, the road forks immediately after that. Take the right fork and follow into Decatur. Once you pass the old courthouse on the RIGHT, turn LEFT at the next traffic light onto Church Street. Go to the 3rd traffic light and the Glenlake Park will be on the RIGHT. 

From North-East (I-85 and I-285):
Take 1-85 South to 1-285 East approximately 4.4 miles to Exit 39A to US 78W (Stone Mtn Freeway). Get into left lane (freeway will fork, follow signs to Decatur); road merges into Lawrenceville Hwy; go to 3rd traffic light—take left onto Bus. Hwy. 29 (becomes Church St). Continue on Church Street to the fourth traffic light and Glenwood Park is on your left.

Follow directions to DHS. Go south on McDonough (over the railroad tracks). Go South on McDonough (passing Agnes Scott on your left) to Lenore Street (approximately 1 miles). Turn right onto Lenore Street.  Take the 1st right onto Adams Street which dead ends into the McKoy Park parking lot.

From I-75/85
Take 75/85 to Freedom Parkway exit 248C toward the Carter Center.  Stay straight to go on Freedom Pkwy/Ga 10 E. Stay straight to go on East Freedom Pkwy/Ga 42 Connector E. Take a left onto Moreland Ave; go two blocks and take a right onto Ponce de Leon Ave. Travel approximately 1.7 miles to East Lake (it is a right fork). Stay on East Lake until 3rd Avenue (you will have just gone under the MARTA and Railroad tracks); go left onto 3rd Ave. Take a left on Leyden and a right at the stop sign at Feld and Leydon into Oakhurst Park.

From North-East (I-85 and I-285):
Take 1-85 South to 1-285 East approximately 4.4 miles to Exit 39A to US 78W (Stone Mtn Freeway). Get into left lane (freeway will fork, follow signs to Decatur); road merges into Lawrenceville Hwy; go to 2rd traffic light—take left onto DeKalb Industrial Way; road later becomes Arcadia Way. Continue until road crosses over MARTA and railroad tracks. Take a right onto College Ave. Continue on College past Agnes Scott College until Feld Avenue (approximately 1.8 miles). Take a left onto Feld and continue into Oakhurst Park.

 

Winnona Park Elementary School

Follow the directions to DHS. When you are on College Ave in front of Agnes Scott, turn right if heading east, and left if heading west onto Candler Rd. Turn at the first street on the left, Winnona Dr. Go down one block to first right on Avery Street. Winonna School is one block farther on left.
